Travel Through Cambodia was founded by Oun Lis, a government-licensed tour guide and professional photographer from Siem Reap, the heart of the Angkor Archaeological Park. Growing up surrounded by ancient temples, he developed a deep passion for Khmer history, culture, and storytelling.

Since 2017, Oun has worked as an official guide, leading historical and photography tours across Angkor and beyond. With a background in Teaching English (University of South-East Asia, 2018) and training from the Ministry of Tourism of Cambodia, he combines strong communication skills with deep local knowledge and cultural understanding.

Before becoming a full-time guide, he worked as a teacher, where he enjoyed sharing knowledge and connecting with students. This experience shaped his friendly, informative, and engaging guiding style.

Founded in 2018, Travel Through Cambodia was created to share the real Cambodia—its hidden stories, authentic people, and timeless beauty beyond the typical tourist experience.
